Immerse yourself in the cultural influence of some of the most beautiful beaches in Southern Florida. Take a day trip to Siesta Beach and become entranced by the white powder sand, warm waters, and breathtaking views. This beach hosts free parking and a playground for the kids.

Crescent Beach, just off Sarasota, is known for having cool-to-the-touch sand even at midday. This just might be a winner if you have small children, so no one burns their feet! Turtle Beach, the southernmost beach of the three, is home to dolphin sightings, sand crabs and of course, turtles!

Charter your own boat or take a tour of the open sea with the beautiful crystal waters Siesta Key has to offer. Within minutes of boarding a boat, you can arrive right at your fishing destination. Calm waters and droves of fish make this a must do in Siesta Key. Kokomo Charters, Key Life Charters, and Siesta Key Fishing Charters are just some of the boat charters waiting to take you to a paradise destination.

Shopping

What is a vacation without bringing home souvenirs!? Browse leisurely through the streets of the Beach Bazaar with a little something for everyone. A big hit with tourists, this spot holds interesting trinkets, clothes, and treasures to bring home! If it is jewels and lovely adornments you love, Silver City Sarasota is a must stop. This family-owned, custom-made jewelry shop is very popular with tourists!. Settle in for a few hours to stroll through the local Siesta Farmer’s Market. Browse through fresh produce, craft tents, and indulge in a quick bite of delicious, local food.

Point of Rocks

Point of Rocks can be found at the south end of Crescent Beach and is a natural wonder of geologic beauty. Tucked away from the main road, this hidden oasis boasts beautiful limestone rock in the shallow, sandy shores. This is a perfect, uncongested haven for peaceful, mindful, pure relaxation. Oh and don’t forget your snorkel!

Spas

Siesta Key Drum Circle

Now, this is something you won’t want to miss! Every Sunday, about an hour before sunset, both locals and tourists come together in unison to form the Siesta Key Drum Circle. The weekly event takes place just south of the main pavilion at Siesta Public Beach. The drum circle began back in 1996 and has been a local tradition ever since. The next time I’m Fl., I’m going to come here & make time for all the outdoor water activities, that seems like a lot of fun & right up my alley. Afterwards it looks like taking full advantage of the spa, would be perfect!
